Our History

 Guitar Hall – The Guitar Boutique was set up  with the core intention of providing the best guitars possible to our learning students. The idea of setting up a Guitar Hall Boutique was not some brilliant expansion move. But that was born by dire need of the hour because hundreds of our students through the years were handed over substandard and faulty guitars from the very few music shops which are present at Mumbai.Not only did we find those guitars demotivating our students but that also created a wrong illusion in the students minds that playing guitars is the most toughest job on earth.Yes,we agree playing a badly made guitar is the toughest job on earth.But thats really not the case with a properly set up instrument.In fact it's the most pleasurable activity one can do in their lives with a proper instrument.

    Guitars in India, unlike abroad, are actually manufactured in small scale workplaces in the eastern and north-eastern part of our country which are collectively delivered at the factories who give them their final polishes, touches and their labels. Needless to think there are many flaws in the instruments. Out of 100 guitars only 30-35 are up to playing standards.And since the past 5 years 'made in China' guitars have flooded the Indian market.About the Chinese guitars the least said the better!The guitars are extremely amazing looking and sounds great initially but like everything Chinese they fizzle out in a few months.Reason - Plywood can never take the place of Tropically grown Rosewood,Mahogany and Maple wood.

  Music shop owners have no choice but to sell them to beginners who have no clue about what a guitar is all about knowing very well that they won’t question them like pros regarding the many technical aspects of the guitar.

But the problems were ours alone. It's we at Guitar Hall who had to play those substandard guitars eventually which was the last thing we wanted after practing guitars since years!Hence Guitar Hall Boutique was born to provide immaculate quality guitars at reasonable rates to our students.

We at Guitar Hall personally visit the guitar factories once every 6 months and handpick each and every guitar that you see at our shelves, through long hours of careful inspection.So be rest assured what you get at Guitar Hall is of the best quality,the best specifications and the best tone money can buy!And need we say,prices that are cheaper than any music shop in India! All guitars come with a never heard of 3 years Guitar Hall warranty!
